"Enlighten the people, generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like spirits at the dawn of day." Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dupont de Nemours, April 24, 1816
I have to say that I wanted to be a High School history teachier when I was younger. I still teach today on different subjects. The one subject outside of real estate that can keep me wanting more is our own US History. It seems that our past is not taught as much as I feel it should.
I agree with this quote, people seem to get mad or frustrated at things that they do not know, or understand. And sometimes, they may not realize that it is do to this "lack of enlightenment" as the root cause of the frustration. As people understand what crated the ill fortune, they start react less hostile. Finally understanding what the "unkown" actually was...
I hope everyone has a great day!
